After graduation, Gary enjoyed an 8-year career with the American Heart Association, holding positions in West Virginia, New Hampshire, and Virginia. Upon leaving the AHA in Virginia Beach, Gary became the Executive Director of the Children’s AIDS Network in Norfolk. After his twin daughters were born, he returned to Wheeling and held positions with the Catholic Schools Office of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, and then with the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, where he worked for 13 years. In 2018, Gary moved to Maine where he worked for 2 years for Unity College, before joining the staff at Wheeling Health Right in April 2021. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in all aspects of fund development and non-profit management. Gary continues to reside in Maine with his wife, Tricia.
