What Social Services are offered?

Our team assists patients in applying for needed benefits that include but are not limited to:

  • Disability
  • Medicaid
  • Food Stamps
  • Utility Assistance
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Child Care Assistance

Wheeling Health Right does not duplicate services offered at other social service agencies. We collaborate with these agencies to provide comprehensive care for all our clients. We also offer a West Virginia DHHR outstation worker, helping assist at our location.

We do not provide services to persons with VA benefits or insurance because of their access to care. This assures that those who are truly in need and without any alternate health coverage can access care at Wheeling Health Right.

Ohio County Blessing Boxes

Take What You Need Leave What You Can

The idea is simple: Provide access to shelf stable food to those who are not
able to get to existing food pantries. The box is well marked with the words FREE PANTRY and anyone who needs help is able to get what they need anonymously for themselves, their families, friends, and neighbors.

How to Donate

Simply go to one of the Blessings Boxes and place the items being donated onto one of the shelves. All items should be new, unopened, unexpired and not require refrigeration.

If you cannot get to the Blessings Box location you may arrange to drop off items with Ohio County Family Resource Network or Soup Kitchen of Greater Wheeling. Both organizations are also able to accept monetary donations to help support Blessings Boxes.
